This making of this box was commisioned by the Quail Lodge Resort in Carmel Valley California to commemorate the new annual event "The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering". The event was kicked off in 2003 and a total of 203 numbered limited edition boxes were manufactured. An additional 17 artist proof boxes were also manufactured and numbered.
The box was precision machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. The top of the box has an inset of 304 stainless steel which has been painstakinly engine turned by hand. Only a few of these boxes are still available.
The current engraving can be removed and engraving of your choosing can be added. Happy 10th My Love!!
